Much of my illustration work focuses on my experiences growing up queer in a rural Minnesotan town, exploring unsettling places and feeling that something is always lurking around every corner.
Proxy Earth follows the journey of Ib who lives on an alien planet containing bizarre cities beneath the surface filled with both hostile and friendly entities. As he descends he meets Lark, a man from these depths who was unaware of the life above. The pair work to uncover why their civilizations have split apart and fall in love along the way.
This is a game lore concept art 'book' which explores sci-fi, mythology, and speculative fiction through a queer lens.
My 3D models explore queer expression through the joyful abstraction of people and animals.
Assigned Liminal At Birth was created utilizing my programming skills with my design capabilities to create work that explores my transgender identity as a liminal experience: putting viewers in my shoes as I guide them through the unsettling confusion of knowing what you are without having the ability to express it.
